Everything You Know About LED Digital Posters

Now you will see several questions about LED digital posters.

How can LED digital poster display be better than video projector?

Video projectors usually seem to be a simpler and cheaper solution, but they display different image quality and brightness, and they cannot adapt to any environment like innovative digital LED posters.

How does viewing angle become an important asset of LED digital posters?

The image perception of the LED poster sign is affected by the distance between the viewer and the screen. At this distance, the human eye (or brain) no longer sees a single pixel, but the entire picture. Of course, when looking at the screen, you can be closer (of course you can also be farther away). Closer to the screen, the pixels will become more and more obvious, but the image will remain acceptable for a long time.

The viewing angle of the LED sign is usually understood as: "The audience can move to any side of the screen, but still see the same brightness." People often talk about "readability", and the viewing angle is only related to the brightness of the digital poster.

The viewing angle of the LED display screen is measured horizontally and vertically. They indicate the range within which the image on the LED screen is completely visible when there is no negative image displayed on the screen. The LED industry defines the viewing angle as a full angle whose brightness is half of the brightness from dead center.

What is a LED?

LED is an abbreviation for Light Emitting Diode. The digital LED screen is made up of many smaller light-emitting diodes placed closely together to form a digital poster. Each LED emits three colors-red, green, and blue-and they glow together to produce a series of colors. These colors can be combined to create an image that you can customize and create an animation on the business logo you light up.

What are pixels?

A pixel is a diminutive picture element. Pixels are points that emit light at the same time and can form letters, words, animations, and videos. A pixel can be composed of one or more LEDs of the same color or multiple LEDs of different colors. The pixel is the smallest element of the LED screen (or LED wall) and can be monitored individually. Pixels can be turned off or turned on at different intensities on your custom light-up sign.

What is the difference between LED and LCD?

Traditional LCD (liquid crystal display) window screens are usually used indoors, while LEDs are effective in almost any environment. LED technology is what you see on outdoor sports fields, and many of the largest event venues are switching to transparent LED digital posters.

These LED signs are designed to remain bright and visible even in direct sunlight. Unlike LCD screens, they are very durable and do not require a backlight to work like LCD screens.

What is pixel pitch?

Pixel pitch refers to the distance between the center of an LED and the LED next to it. The smaller the pixel pitch, the better the resolution and image quality of the LED.
